Choose audio devices

Menu is the daily dashboard. It shows the microphone, system-audio output and usage figures. Device lists refresh when opened, so a newly connected microphone or output can appear without restarting WhisperARC.

  1. Open Menu and choose a microphone or System default.
  2. Choose the Windows output used for system-audio capture.
  3. Make a short test recording after connecting or changing a device.

Customize shortcuts

Open Settings and click the dictation or system-audio shortcut field then press up to two modifiers, keys or supported mouse buttons. WhisperARC rejects duplicate combinations. The same dictation shortcut works in Hold or Activate / stop mode; choose the behavior in the Dictate section. The system-audio shortcut can be left empty.
