Processing long files
WhisperARC prepares each file locally then splits long recordings into smaller sections so they can resume safely. The sections are joined back into one transcript with continuous timestamps.
Transcription uses the selected Local, Cloud or OpenAI KEY source. Cloud consumes the shared WhisperARC credits; OpenAI uses your account's separate billing.
The source language is detected automatically. File jobs transcribe the original audio; dictation translation, custom spellings and automatic dictation modes do not apply to imported files.
